MSD Animal Health is a global company dedicated to improving the health, well-being, and performance of animals. Nobivac is a range of veterinary vaccines designed to help protect animals against a wide variety of infectious diseases. Used in species such as dogs and cats, Nobivac supports veterinarians and pet owners with trusted options for preventive healthcare and vaccination programs.

Challenge 

MSD Animal Health needed to unify the portfolio under one umbrella brand: Nobivac with a single minded value proposition and a unified identity that could work consistently across markets, products, and touchpoints. The task wasn’t only to create coherence. It was to build a brand that could shift perception from technical complexity to human relevance without losing the confidence and credibility expected in animal health.

A global brand platform and identity were developed to unify the world’s largest

companion animal vaccine portfolio under one clear promise: Essential protection

for essential bonds.

Working closely with lead market teams, we aligned stakeholders around a shared brand

story and translated it into a flexible identity system and practical rollout tools that local

markets could apply across both online and offline communication.

Key outcomes included:
  • A clearer, more human centered brand positioning, using Nobivac as a foundation for a
    broader shift in how future product launches could communicate, moving from purely
    scientific framing toward more human relevance and connection.

  • A consistent global expression of Nobivac across products and markets, supported by
    structured guidelines and ready to use toolkits.

  •  A refined packaging system that built on existing color coding logic, helping distinguish
    products while strengthening overall brand cohesion and shelf impact, developed with
    packaging requirements and regulatory considerations in mind.
